Vision Point Capital today announced that Chris Gomes has joined the firm as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions. In this key leadership role, Mr. Gomes will lead the firm’s M&A practice with a focus on helping sell-side executives and buy-side investors achieve their financial and strategic objectives. He will report directly to Vision Point Capital’s Founder and CEO, Will Rodriguez.

Gomes joins the team with an extensive track record in facilitating beneficial business transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and acquisition integrations, most recently for Sherwin-Williams as Director of Corporate Development. “It’s my pleasure to welcome Chris to the Vision Point Capital team as we take significant steps to expanding our M&A division,” said Mr. Rodriguez. “Chris brings the local expertise and global reach necessary to enhance our M&A capabilities and provide clients with a trusted partner who can efficiently and effectively facilitate their business transition goals.”

“It’s great to be joining Vision Point Capital and heading up our M&A division,” said Gomes. “Will and his team have helped hundreds of business owners create and execute transition strategies that allow them to exit on their own terms, and I’m looking forward to building a robust M&A practice that’s focused on educating our clients on their potential paths forward, aligning them to the best options for their specific objectives, connecting them to buyers and sellers to facilitate deals, and providing insightful guidance throughout the entire process.”
