Put Our Knowledge & Expertise to

Work for You

We realize that running and maintaining a valuation practice can be an expensive venture for most CPA firms. Between the start-up costs, education, and experience required, it should not be taken lightly. Also, given the competency requirements of Rule 201 of the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct, the liability exposure for most CPA firms doesn’t make it a profitable undertaking.

That’s where we can step in to help you deliver on your clients’ expectations. With years of experience behind us, Vision Point Capital was built on performing valuations for companies of all sizes in a variety of industries.

We Help You Meet Your Clients’ Needs.

As a boutique advisory firm, Vision Point Capital works directly with CPAs to provide valuation and consulting services such as:

Private, white labeling services:

Valuations are issued under your firm’s brand and on your letterhead. As a representative of the CPA firm, you will sign the report as the Valuation Analyst’s Representation. This arrangement is a win-win for both the client and the CPA firm. The client saves time by relying on their trusted CPA advisor and not having to conduct interviews and vet different appraisers. The CPA benefits by having the experts at Vision Point Capital as a trusted business partner who helps you fulfill (or expand) your core service offerings.

While conducting an audit procedure, an auditor may find that their team does not have the necessary expertise in an area – valuation for example. How will you know that the valuation is performed with current valuation and accounting principles? The professionals at Vision Point Capital can help. During our years of performing valuations, we’ve also been retained to review valuation reports from local as well as national firms for a multitude of industries. When we receive the report, we review it in detail and schedule a phone call with the valuation firm to make sure we understand what assumptions were made and review valuation methodology. Then, we prepare a detailed memo for the audit file. If the report needs adjusting, we will work with the valuation firm to make sure the appropriate changes are made.
