Founder & CEO

Will Rodriguez

With more than 20 years’ experience behind him, Will has worked with thousands of privately-held companies from start-ups to well-established brands performing valuations, M&A transactions, and ESOP advisory engagements. His opinions/conclusions have been accepted by the Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, national and regional accounting firms, and also in litigation and mediation.

Will holds a Bachelor of Science with an accounting major and a master’s in business administration with a concentration in finance. Furthermore, he’s earned continuing education credit through courses and workshops provided by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and the Exit Planning Institute.

Will is credentialed by the AICPA and NACVA and is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Forensic & Valuation Section of the AICPA, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), Association of Corporate Growth (ACG), and Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council (TBEPC).

Managing Director, Mergers & Acquisitions

Chris Gomes

With 20+ years of experience facilitating complex business transactions on Wall Street and Main Street, Chris serves as a trusted partner to investors, business owners, and C-suite executives at organizations of all sizes. His work spans corporate development, corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, and investment banking. Chris began his career at PwC where he advised clients across multiple industries, and he rose through the corporate ranks to become Vice President of a Wall Street investment bank, and the head of M&A at a Fortune 500 company. Throughout his career, Chris has derived great satisfaction out of helping investors and business owners successfully buy and sell businesses. He graduated from the University of Chicago (Booth) with a Master of Business Administration, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Chris speaks fluent Portuguese and is conversant in Spanish. He is also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), and a Certified M&A Advisor (CM&AA).

Chief Marketing & Operations Officer

Matt Stein

With over 20 years of marketing leadership experience at investment firms and corporate advisories, Matt leads full-service marketing and operations capabilities that deliver revenue growth from initial brand awareness to client acquisition and partner engagement. His leadership has generated over $850m of top-line revenue growth, and he’s helped multiple companies become industry leaders in their verticals, as recognized by Forrester in their Wave reports and by Gartner in their Magic Quadrant reports. Matt has previously held marketing leadership positions at multiple middle-market private equity firms; PEAK6 Investments, a fin-tech focused investment firm; Kobie Marketing, a leading SaaS technology platform; Catalina Marketing, a data-driven direct marketing firm; and Wunderman, a global digital agency and member of the WPP Group. He currently lives in Tampa, Florida.

Vice President, Valuations

Amy LaSala

An industry and military veteran, LaSala joins Vision Point Capital from Blue Sky Business Resources where she headed up their valuations advisory and analytics services. Prior to that, she served as Managing Director of Valuations at Cornerstone Business Services where she managed all valuation clients, deliverables, and KPIs. LaSala started her career in the U.S Army as a paralegal, and after her tour of duty joined JP Morgan Chase where she was honored as a top banker in the Midwest region. She then transitioned into the world of M&A and became a Certified Valuation Analyst. In 2017, LaSala was named one of the “40 under 40 Key Difference Makers” by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.

LaSala received her MBA from Lakeland university and now lives in Wisconsin with her two children where she is extremely involved in both Girl Scouts and Scouts BSA.

Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions

Justin Pate

Justin’s fierce passion for finance and economics began as a teenager when he began investing for himself. He carried that passion through his undergraduate program at Columbus State University, earning a Bachelor of Science with a major in finance and a minor in economics. During this time, he traveled to New York for the GAME Forum hosted by Quinnipiac University. Justin’s fervor for the industry continued into his graduate program where he earned a Master of Science in finance at the University of Tampa. While in attendance, he and four of his colleagues were among the top three finalists at the 2019 ACG Cup, an M&A competition. Justin also had the opportunity to intern with the Florida Venture Forum, a nonprofit organization that creates growth in the venture capital space. Along with his colleagues at the Florida Venture Forum, Justin published the 2020 Florida Venture Capital Yearbook. Justin was also a keynote speaker at the 2019 State of the Tampa Bay Entrepreneurial Ecosystem, alongside Jeff Vinik and Rebecca White. While pursuing his academic goals, Justin sharpened his skills in financial modeling, investment analysis, and advanced portfolio management. Additionally, he placed a specialized focus on investment banking analysis, including various valuation methods.

Senior Valuation Associate

Tyrette Tebbi

Tyrette serves as Senior Valuation Associate at Vision Point Capital and supports clients across our valuation, ESOP, and M&A advisory groups. Prior to joining VPC she worked at PwC, one of the Big 4 national accounting firms, where she served as a Manager and worked on compliance and consulting projects. She started her career at a local Tampa Bay-based accounting firm where she supported high-net-worth individuals with their accounting needs.

Tyrette holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Iowa, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Florida. While at the University of Iowa, she was a member of the Women’s Golf Team. Tyrette is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is currently working towards her valuation credentials. She lives in Tampa, FL with her husband and two children.
